90-day NEC is for construction contractors and subcontractors
It's designed to help you make money on your NEC project.
While maintaining good relationships with your clients

How do you make money on an NEC project?
Most contractors are good at doing the work on site.
But that's not enough on an NEC project. You have to make sure you issue notices on time. And you need to get it right from day one. We need to know when to issue early warnings, compensation event notices, and programmes, and how to follow a process to get paid for our work.
In just 90 days, you can transform how you manage your NEC projects. It's important that we understand how all these processes work together and how we work with our client to make them work so we get paid.
Why did I develop this programme?
I started my career working for a small groundworks subcontractor on an NEC project.
I was on site on my own.
I had a QS degree but none of it was of any use.
If I encountered issues, I had no-one to ask for advice.
The company did not have a commercial structure.
and they didn't have any NEC experience
So then I left and worked with some of the bigger firms
How did the programme develop?
I’ve led commercial teams on £100 million projects for Balfour Beatty
I’ve led change management teams on £1billion projects for Costain
on one project alone, the system reversed £300 million of losses
I’ve done the work
So I know what works for the biggest companies on the biggest projects
I know what best practice is.
And I’ve tried this out for the smallest companies on the smallest projects
So, I’ve distilled it to the basic principles.
In a nutshell, I want to bring best NEC commercial practice from the top contractors to the smaller firms
And I want to help as many companies as possible.
This new programme is designed to help as many companies as possible.
What do you get?
So, how do we do it?
I’ve done traditional training sessions.
What usually happens is someone will go through a contract
And you take notes
But sometimes you're on a course
And you're having a busy day on site
So, you're distracted and you might not have paid attention
But even if you did pay attention
There may be one or two points that relate to your current situation
But the people who teach the course are never around when you experience problems
So, I wanted to come up with something different that addresses this.
So, instead of telling you what you should do
I'm showing you what I do
I'm showing you what works whether you are working on the biggest project in the country
Or the smallest
this isn't a one-off workshop
The programme can be worked through in your own time.
This means that you can go through the training whenever you need it
You can go through the construction module when a new opportunity lands
And you can go through the dispute resolution module when issues start to build up
you can bring your actual issues to the weekly calls, and we can work through them
What is the Programme?
So, I didn't want to just go through the theory
I wanted to actually show how I do it
So, on the contract management side
I go through real-life common examples
We go through a project where the start on site has been delayed
And I show you the exact wording I use to notify the event as a compensation event
And i give you a swipe file with lots of examples of notifications
It just gives you something to start with
So the programme provides the eight tools you need to manage your NEC projects
So, let's have a look at them
The first 2 are tender-related
The next 3 are contract management
The last 2 are for avoiding and managing disputes
1.1 The contract review guide. This is what you need to have in your contract to protect your profits. We can lose fortunes if we sign up to a bad contract? (£295 value)
1.2 The quotation workshop. Make sure you don’t miss anything that will reduce your profits. Also, how to provide the contract data information that will protect your profits. (£295 value)
2.1 Early warnings. How to be strategic with early warning notices. We can lose money if these are not issued on time, but done correctly, they can be used to work together and to set up compensation events. (£295 value)
2.2 Compensation events. There are financial penalties if we don't issue notices in accordance with strict time scales. If we don't follow the process, we won't get paid when things change. (£295 value)
2.3 Programmes. The programme needs to be correct from the beginning. It is much more than just a construction programme. the programme needs to be right to set up extensions of time claims for when we are delayed (£295 value)
3.1 Conflict avoidance. We need to work with our client to identify issues early and resolve them quickly (£495 value)
3.2 Dispute resolution. We need to resolve disputes as quickly as possible. We go through all the stages of escalation, starting with senior management discussions and then getting a third party involved (£495 value)
Bonus 1 - Extension of time workshop - make sure you don’t get hit by delay damages when your project has been delayed (£395 value)
Bonus 2 - Prolongation guide - recover your money when your works have been delayed (£395 value)
Bonus 3 - Disruption system - make sure you recover all costs associated with your delays (£395 value)
Bonus 4 - 90-day access to our weekly Q&A sessions. 12 chances to get more in depth solutions (£5,500 value)
Bonus 5- 90-day access to the NEC community (£2,300 value)
The total value of the programme is over £10,000. But I want 90 days in the programme to be cheaper than paying me £1,500 for a 1-day training session.
So, you can enrol now for £825.00 (excluding VAT)
If you're struggling with commercial issues this is the place to go. The programme is really well put together, mixing fundamental principles and actionable advice across a range of relevant topics. Highly recommended.
